Variscite is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the DART-MX95, a NXP i.MX95-based System on Module with impressive graphics, high-performance, advanced security and safety features, rich connectivity set, and AI/ML capabilities. The SoM caters to a wide range of applications, spanning from industrial, aviation, medical, robotics, IoT devices, vision-integrated applications to smart edge devices.

Leveraging the advantages of NXP’s iMX95 application processor family, the DART-MX95 features energy-flex architecture and high scalability with its multiple heterogeneous processing domains. This includes an application domain and up to 6 cores at 2.0 GHz Arm Cortex®-A55, a high-performance 800MHz Arm Cortex-M7 real-time coprocessor, and a low-power/safety 250MHz Arm Cortex-M33 real-time coprocessor.

Highlighting powerful graphics capabilities, the DART-MX95 platform is equipped with an advanced 2D/3D graphics accelerator backed by the Arm Mali™. Other noteworthy features include enriched multimedia capabilities, an integrated NPU accelerator coupled with an ISP, extensive security and safety compliances that are in adherence with the ASIL-B and SIL2 standards, and a wide range of high-speed connectivity options.

“As a Platinum partner with early access to NXP’s technology, Variscite has an enormous advantage in developing the next-gen System on Modules that give our customers the ability to create embedded devices of the future today,” said Ofer Austerlitz, VP Business Development and Sales of Variscite. “The DART-MX95 is a powerful addition to the respected DART Pin2Pin product family, broadening scalability prospects and guaranteeing future-proof applications.”

The DART-MX95 System on Module is compatible with the DART Pin2Pin product family that allows seamless scaling between modules based on the NXP i.MX8M/ 8M Plus/ 8M Mini. Variscite’s Pin2Pin families enable prolonged product longevity, diminish development overheads in terms of time and finances, and minimize risks.

The SoM and related evaluation kits will be released simultaneously with NXP’s launch of the i.MX95 silicon and its software. Variscite ensures supply continuity of 15 years to preserve customers’ engineering investment for their embedded designs.
