The VAR-SOM-MX8M-MINI and DART-MX8M-MINI feature NXP’s iMX8M Mini processor with up to 1.8GHz quad Cortex-A53 cores and a dedicated 400MHz Cortex-M4 real-time co-processor, providing balanced performance and power consumption. These SoMs support 1080p video encoding/decoding, Vivante GC7000Lite 3D graphics acceleration, dual LVDS and MIPI DSI display interfaces, and comprehensive connectivity including certified Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet, making them ideal for applications requiring cost-effective multimedia processing in sectors such as industrial automation, IoT, and smart cities.
