Variscite is pleased to inform about the Yocto Sumo v1.0 release for dart-6ul Modules, based on iMX6UL and i.MX 6ULL processors.
Modules: DART-6UL (including the i.MX6UL and i.MX 6ULL processors and the DART-6UL-5G). 
Release: sumo-fslc-4.9.88-mx6ul-v1.0.

Noteworthy updates:

  • sources/meta-variscite-fslc:
    • Upgraded the Linux kernel to NXP release 4.9.88
    • wictool support – replace the obsolete “sdcard” image type with the default “wic.gz” and remove the  redundant ext4 image type
    • Add support for NAND flash parts with eraseblock size of 256KiB
    • WiFi : load / unload WiFi driver during power up – down sequence
  • sources/meta-browser:
    • chromium-x11: Upgraded to 67.0.3396.99
  • sources/meta-qt5:
    • Qt: upgrade to 5.10.1
